If you are a fan of Puneeth Rajkumar, you can't miss this non-fiction docu-drama. If you are a fan of wildlife documentaries, you can't miss this film. Vaathi/Sir:

Vaathi is streaming on Netflix.

Dhanush has made a career by swimming against the tide. While everyone seems to be gravitated towards making big blockbusters, he goes the other way. He makes simple and intimate movies that at first seem to have no shot at success in front of towering blockbusters. And yet, in the end, his films manage to stand out and stand tall. Last year it was the humble Thiruchitrambalam, a family drama, which exceeded all expectations in terms of box office collection. And this year, it's Vaathi/Sir . The film was simultaneously shot in Tamil and Telugu by Venky Atluri. And it also stars Samyuktha, P. Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Samuthirakani and Hyper Aadi in the supporting cast. Set in the 90s, the film might just charm you like it did the theatre-going audience.
