Brahmastra is currently making headlines because of how netizens are demanding to boycott the movie. At the same time, we have come to know one of the lead actors of the film Amitabh Bachchan was also not confident about the movie. He blamed director Ayan Mukerji and even took it up with the film’s producer Karan Johar.

Amitabh Bachchan was extremely upset while shooting for Brahmastra, a report on BollywoodLife claims. A source told the portal that the senior was very upset with Ayan’s delayed schedules and reshoots.

In fact, Big B even took up the matter with Karan Johar and went on to say that if the movie is shot in the way it was, it would turn out to be a total disaster. “He even met the producer of the film Karan Johar that Ayan is wasting his time and he should stop investing money in the film as the speed with Ayan is going the film will be a disaster,” the source was quoted saying.

Brahmastra is finally releasing in theatres on September 9. The movie was in the making for five long years.

Amitabh Bachchan, too, is very hopeful about the film despite the current scenario. He notices how every actor has worked very hard towards the film and feels that the viewers would see the same.

The advance bookings for Brahmastra are open and the early numbers does give everyone associated with the movie an opportunity to celebrate. However, it is too early to predict anything about the film since the investment is high and it needs to have higher returns to be declared a hit.

Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is Ayan’s first film in his Astraverse. The movie sees Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles. Nagarjuna, Big B, Mouni Roy and Dimple Kapadia play a pivotal role in the film. It also sees Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo appearance.
