GV Prakash who is a close collaborator of Dhanush, had composed for his directorial film Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam. In particular, the Golden Sparrow song which features Priyanka Mohan, was hit from the album. Priyanka Arul Mohan had appeared in the song. While the song was a chartbuster, it however did not appeal to Ken Karunaas, actor and director who is gearing up for his film’s release, Youth.
In a recently conducted pre-release event of Youth, GV Prakash who also scored for the film, revealed what Ken said about. "Once the Golden Sparrow song was completed, I gave it to our director sir (Dhanush). He too liked it but then I got a call from him saying that Ken had told him that he did not like the song. I said that the song will become a hit. I thought he was creating a problem and ever since then I wanted to catch hold of him. Finally, when I met him at airport, he remained on his stance and said the song did not work for him,” GV Prakash said, about the song which has crossed millions of views.
Priyanka Mohan’s latest film Made in Korea is streaming on Netflix in various languages and subtitles. Directed by Ra Karthik, the film is about a small-town girl from Tamil Nadu who dreams of going to Korea one day.
