2024 was packed with a variety of movies releasing throughout the year, with anticipation levels largely determined by the studios’ marketing efforts. Among the most awaited was Wicked. The film, a collaboration of Ariana Grande, Cynthia Erivo, and Michelle Yeoh, promised to be a cherished experience. A live-action adaptation of the iconic musical, it captivated audiences until the very end. Fans who missed its theatrical release eagerly awaited its digital debut, and now it is finally available for streaming in India.
Wicked Out On Rent
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Jon M. Chu (Crazy Rich Asians In the Heights), Wicked is the first chapter of a two-part cinematic celebration. Titled Wicked, Part One hit theaters on November 22, 2024, mesmerizing audiences with its stunning visuals and music. The nearly three-hour-long spectacle became a global sensation and is now available on Amazon Prime Video in India. Currently, it is offered on a rental basis, with no updates on when it will transition to subscription-based viewing.
Once rented, Wicked will be accessible for 30 days and viewable for 48 hours after streaming begins. However, there is no confirmation on when the movie will leave the rental section and become available for subscription streaming. Happy watching!
