We cannot expect any mercy from a father who can relentlessly go to any extent to save his son whom he believes is innocent. Despite also, being a judge, the journey does not seem easy. Sony Liv courtroom drama Your Honor is back with a new season starring Jimmy Sheirgill as the father/judge.

The teaser opens with Mahie Gill entering a loud pub while Jimmy Sheirgill is blindfolded and tied onto a chair in some warehouse-like setting. It follows an action-packed sequence showing Jimmy as a father who loves his imprisoned son dearly going to any extent to seek justice as he believes he is innocent.

Jimmy and very few cast members have been said to be retained from Season 1. The first season of the show, which was released in June 2020, had him alongside Pulkit Makol, Mita Vashisht, Yashpal Sharma and Parul Gulati in the main roles. Season 2, on the other hand, features Mahie Gill and Jimmy along with Gulshan Grover, Pulkit Makol, Mita Vashisht, Kunj Anand, Richa Pallod, Suhasini Mulay, Syed Zeishan Qadri, Mahabir Bhullar, Varun Badola and Parul Gulati.

The official synopsis of the show reads: "It revolves around Bhishan Khosla (Jimmy Sheirgill) and his son. Bishan’s son Abeer gets caught in a hit and run case. The boy who is hit in this case by Abeer is the son of the city gangster. Bishan Khosla sacrifices relationships and subverts the law to save his son from a vengeful gangster. The series portrays how even the pinnacle of law breaks in order to save their family."

Directed by E Niwas, the show is an official adaptation of an Israeli web series Kvodo. The release date of the upcoming season is not yet out.
