Obi-Wan FINALLY meets Luke
Ever since Obi-Wan Kenobi began, fans were waiting with bated breath for that one moment when this Jedi will meet ‘the chosen one,’ Luke Skywalker. He finally did and it was perfect! All Ben did was say “Hello there” but all the Star Wars fans know where the story is heading from there and how special Obi-Wan will be for Luke ahead.

May The Force Be With You
It happened. It actually happened. Obi-Wan Kenobi bid his dearest Princess Leia (Skywalker) goodbye by saying the words every Star Wars fans love. He told her, “Goodbye, princess. May the force be with you.” Literal chills.

Luke works on his speeder bike
Star Wars: A New Hope (1977) began with Luke Skywalker and his famous speeder bike. Obi-Wan Kenobi met Luke and became an integral part of his life in the film. Here, in Obi-Wan Kenobi the series, Ben asks Luke what is he working on. The scene shows him working on a part of his speeder bike, which played an important part throughout the franchise.

Darth Vader’s mask comes off, through Obi-Wan’s lightsaber
There are very rare moments when Darth Vader removed his mask. If you think hard, you can think about the one time and that too was when he put on the mask, not removed it. Obi-Wan Kenobi, on the other hand, exposed Anakin Skywalker’s face time-and-again. The finale episode, especially, showed half his face with half his mask. This was especially iconic because Obi-Wan used his lightsaber to see Anakin one last time before Darth Vader takes over completely. It was a way of showing Kenobi’s hope in Anakin, all of which was vanished with the scene.

Obi-Wan tells Leia that he will meet her again, as his old self
When Princess Leia asked Obi-Wan if they will ever meet her again, he replied in a maybe and said that she can reach out to his old, tired self. Of course, that is exactly what happened when her ship was hijacked by the Sith (stormtroopers, led by Darth Vader). “Help me, Obi Wan Kenobi, you’re my only hope,” she sent the message through her droid, R2-D2. This instance also happens in A New Hope, when Leia wanted Obi-Wan and R2-D2 in Alderaan, where her father, Senator Bail Organa (a Jedi that Obi-Wan is familiar with) was stationed.
