In only three weeks, Rocking Star Yash's most anticipated film, KGF: Chapter 2 will hit theatres on April 14. The Prashant Neel directorial, produced by Hombale Films, will release in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. Also starring Srinidhi Shetty, Prakash Raj, Vasishta N Simha, Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Malavika Avinash, among many others, KGF: Chapter 2 is one of the biggest films of 2022.

KGF: Chapter 1 was Rocking Star Yash's second film with the producers, Hombale Films, after Masterpiece (2015). His first pan-India film, KGF: Chapter 1 introduced Yash to the rest of India and the world and his outing as Rocky Bhai made him an instant star everywhere.
Raja Krishnappa Bhairya, better known as Rocky, grows up in poverty, and becomes a dreaded assassin, working for Shetty in Mumbai.
As Shetty's right-hand man, Rocky oversees their gold smuggling operations and soon grows in stature rivaling his boss.
When the opportunity to 'own' Mumbai comes knocking, Rocky Bhai has to take up a job - go to KGF and kill Garuda, the son of don Suryavardhan, who has inherited control of the mines.
Moved by the plight of the slaves at the mines, Rocky begins to take on the overseers, which makes him a saviour in their eyes.
Ravi Basrur won the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Music for his work on KGF: Chapter 1. One of the songs, Jokae, brought Tamannaah Bhatia to Kannada cinema.
Ramachandra Raju, who debuted with KGF: Chapter 1 as the villain Garuda, became so popular that the moniker stuck. The actor is now referred to as Garuda Ram in Kannada industry circles.
