Deepika Padukone makes her debut at Cannes 2010

Just three years after making her way to Hindi feature films with Om Shanti Om, Deepika walked the Cannes 2010 red carpet in a white and golden saree by designer Rohit Bal. "I think the only one superstar at this time at Cannes is going to be Deepika Padukone. There's nobody better than Deepika to break the rules and it's going to attract a lot of attention," Bal had told Hindustan Times at the time.

Deepika had another tulle moment, this one louder and poofier than the fuschia dress, at the premiere of Pedro Almodovar's Pain and Glory. She added a turban to the look and understated nude heels.
