On Sunday, a new Kannada film called Bingo was launched. Directed by Shankar Konamanahalli, the film is a suspense thriller. Speaking at the muhurtha, Shankar said that 'Bingo' has multiple meanings and that he is leaving it up to the audience to decipher which one he has gone with for this film.
Bingo is director Shankar's second film only. His debut venture, Shambo Shiva Shankara is coming to theatres on December 16.Bingo, he says, is based on a real-life story. The film will be shot in two schedules, in around 40 days, in locations across Bengaluru.,
Producer RK Punith is a first-time filmmaker, who chose to back Bingo as he liked the story. His primary focus areas remain real estate and catering business.
RK Chandan, who is making the transition from the small screen to cinema with Bingo, is the lead hero of this suspense thriller.
Young actress Raksha will be paired opposite Chandan in Shankar's film.

Bingo will have a 7-day schedule in Bengaluru, after which director Shankar will get busy with the post-production and release plans of his debut directorial. Once he is done with that, the shoot of Bingo will resume. Ragini is expected to join the set in the second schedule.
