The arrest of Sooraj Pancholi
Sooraj Pancholi was detained by the Mumbai Police shortly after Jiah accused him, while on July 3, 2013, the Bombay High Court granted him bail. The Bombay High Court then forwarded the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in July 2014 to ascertain if it was a suicide or homicide case.
