We take a look at the cast and crew of Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One as well as other details about it.
Tom Cruise’s Mission Impossible is a fan-favourite action movie franchise that has churned out six successful movies so far. The seventh movie has been in the works for some time now and fans are waiting eagerly for its release. The trailer for the movie was dropped recently by the makers and it has gone viral all over the internet. As the fans are eagerly waiting for the film to release, here’s everything we know about Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning.
The makers released the movie’s trailer yesterday and it has had fans talking about the movie non-stop. The trailer featured the IMF agent asked to take a stand as he has to save the world again. The trailer also revealed some of the hair-raising action sequences that are part of the movie.
Tom Cruise returns as Ethan Hunt, while Ving Rhames ( Luther Stickell), Henry Czerny (Eugene Kittridge), Simon Pegg (Benji Dunn), Rebecca Ferguson (Ilsa Faust), Vanessa Kirby (Alanna Mitsopolis) and Frederick Schmidt (Zola Mitsopolis) all reprise their roles in the new movie.
Hayley Atwell, Pom Klementieff, Shea Whigham, Esai Morales, Rob Delaney, Charles Parnell, Indira Varma, Mark Gatiss and Cary Elwes are the new actors who will make their first Mission Impossible appearance in the seventh movie.
Christopher McQuarrie has penned the movie and is also its director. He has previously written and directed Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation and Mission: Impossible – Fallout. Fraser Taggart and Eddie Hamilton are the cinematographer and editor, respectively. Lorne Balfe, who is the music composer of Mission: Impossible – Fallout, returns for Mission Impossible 7.
The Mission: Impossible movies are known for their hair-raising stunts and Tom Cruise has been in the centre of it all. The actor does not shy away from more daredevilry, as the trailer has shown him involved in more stunt sequences. He can be seen fighting on top of a train, driving a motorbike fast without a helmet, getting chased by a car and finally, jumping off a cliff in a motorbike.
Tom Cruise has outdone all of his previous stunt sequences with the one that he has pulled off in Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One. Towards the end of the trailer, we see Cruise’s Hunt run a motorbike at full speed over a steep cliff, taking the viewer’s breath away. Earlier last year, footage from the movie’s production revealed Tom Cruise running a bike over a cliff before he opens a parachute in mid air. We do not see the stunt scene in its entirety in the trailer, but fans can expect yet another scene where Tom Cruise defies all odds.
While the exact numbers are unknown, earlier reports suggest that the seventh movie alone crossed a budget of a whopping $290 million even before it finished production. It was also reported that Tom Cruise convinced Paramount to give the team more money to finish the seventh and eighth movie.
