The First Halloween Heist

The first Halloween of the series' first season ushers in a yearly rivalry between Jake and Holt. Before midnight, Jake tries to steal Holt's Medal of Valor from his office, but Holt is resolute and makes several attempts to conceal the medal. The incessant back and forth between the two only intensifies because they have both pushed the other to the limit.

An In-depth Interview

Jake and Phillip Davidson begin their all-night interrogation in regards to the death of their business colleague. In order to participate in Jake's interrogation, Holt decides to cancel his date with his husband. It appears difficult to coax a confession out of Phillip Davidson as Jake and Holt disagree on how to approach the suspect.

Finally, Jake challenges his father

Jake's father, Roger Peralta, has never been present in Jake's life and only occasionally shows up. Roger Peralta visits the city in one of the episodes to spend time with his kid. Charles, Jake's best friend, doesn't seem to be delighted about it and is dubious of Roger's motives. After some time, Jake becomes aware of his father's nasty plans to reenter his life and confronts him. Holt is incredibly proud of Jake for making such a brave choice.

A Romantic Halloween!

In Season 5 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine the Halloween Robbery is a unique one since Jake has a surprise proposal planned for Amy while the heist is going on. To steal a cummerbund, this heist is available to all participants. The heist's mayhem and excitement become romantic when Amy finds the cummerbund with the phrase "Amy Santiago, will you marry me?" Jake and Holt learn that Commissioner Kelly sent a spy to work in Holt's office. The group learns that Holt's helper is actually a spy. Both make the deliberate choice to use Kelly's aide as a spy on him.

A New Detective

The squad is in disarray after an explosion occurs in the police station. Jake learns that the explosion destroyed some of the crucial information on his desk. Holt hires rookie detective Frank Dillman to crack the case and determine who set off the explosion. Jake makes an independent effort to investigate the case and identifies the perpetrator of the explosion. With the intriguing detours it takes along the road, this intriguing episode will blow your mind.

The Final Heist

For their final Halloween heist, Jake and the other officers get together to have fun. The team decides to disregard all past heist champions in favour of crowning the current victor as "The Grand Champion of the Nine-Nine." In the meantime, Jake and Amy decide to use this as an opportunity to make a significant announcement. There won't be any cliffhangers because this robbery is covered in two episodes and the complete season is available on Netflix and aired on Comedy Central!,
