SS Rajamouli and his leading actors of RRR aka Ram Charan and Jr. NTR were spotted performing Ganga arti in Varanasi. While Ram and Jr. NTR were seen matching in a yellow kurta, SS Rajamouli opted for a pink traditional wear for the day.

A huge crowd gathers for team RRR
The buzz for RRR is huge thanks to SS Rajamouli’s power across India. He had helmed movies like Baahubali and Makkhi ahead of RRR. Thus, when the filmmaker and his two actors arrived in Varanasi, all the locals gathered to see them perform the arti.

Team RRR was recently spotted in Kolkata. They visited the ‘City of Joy’ earlier in the day and then flew down to Varanasi by evening.

While team RRR did make a tour in Indian cities, they also went to Dubai to promote their movie. Dubai is the second largest market for Bollywood movies after India.

Team RRR’s multi-city tour began from Bengaluru and moved on to Hyderabad, Baroda, Delhi, Jaipur, Amritsar and finally, Kolkata. While both Ram and Jr. NTR are big in the Telugu film industry (in Hyderabad), RRR is a multi-lingual film that will be available in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada among other Indian and foreign languages. While the movie releases in theatres on March 25, it will start streaming on OTT much later. The movie’s rights belong to Zee5 and thus, RRR will release on Zee5 after its theatrical run.
