The Karan Johar-directed romantic comedy-drama film features Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma in lead roles. The story is about Ayaan played by Ranbir Kapoor and Alizeh played by Anushka Kapoor. It is a tale about friendship, love, loss and the people they encounter during their journey of finding each other after separation. Tahir played by Shah Rukh Khan essays the role of a person who explains to Ayaan the power of one-sided love. The 2009 romantic comedy features Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. The story revolves around Prem (Ranbir) and Jennifer's (Katrina) love story. Salman Khan plays himself in the cameo as the superstar of Bollywood. At Prem's insistence, he gives Jenny his autograph and pretends to be Prem's friend. The 2014 comedy-drama stars Aamir Khan in the lead role. It’s story is about an alien who comes to earth to learn about humans. He goes through challenges and makes way through them in the end. Anushka Sharma plays the second lead as a writer who helps PK (Aamir) survive on earth and go back to his planet. The climax of the film was much talked about which features Ranbir Kapoor as an alien who lands on earth along with PK. The scene gave us hopes of having a sequel to the movie but no official confirmations have been made by the makers of the film.

The 1997 romantic musical is about a love triangle that forms between Rahul (Shah Rukh Khan), Pooja (Madhuri Dixit) and Nisha (Karisma Kapoor). But Pooja is already committed to her long standing friend Ajay played by Akshay Kumar who wants to marry Pooja. The 2012 Gauri Shinde directed film features Sridevi in the lead role. Shashi played by Sridevi is a housewife who does not speak English and hence encounters ridicule from her family. Amitabh Bachchan enters the scene when Shashi travels to the United States from an airplane for the very first time. Amitabh features as a co-passenger in the scene and helps her at the airport and makes her feel comfortable in the airplane. His cameo was not anticipated and that scene has become one of the highlights of the film. Shashi later learns English in the US and gives a memorable speech at the climax of the film.
