Kushee Ravi's first release since her breakout performance in Dia, is Spooky College, a horror thriller that also stars Vivek Simha and Prithvi Rashtrakuta. Earlier this week, the team got together to launch a special song from the fim, Mellusire Savigana, a dance number featuring Reeshma Nanaiah.

Meet the stars of Spooky College

Spooky College, a campus horror thriller that was shot at a hundred-year-old college, and has Vivek Simha, Kushee Ravi and Prithvi Rashtrakuta in the lead, is ready for release. The film was supposed to come out on November 25, but has now been pushed ahead. A new release date is yet to be announced.

Kushee Ravi and Vivek Simha are in the lead

Kushee and Vivek made it to the recent song release event. The duo came dressed in co-ordinated black outfits in keeping with the horror theme of their film. They even sported matching makeup with Kushee's face adorned with cobwebs and Vivek's with spiders.

Spooky College is Kushee's first release since her breakthrough role in Dia. The actress has been guarded about her role in the Bharat G directorial.

Reeshma Naniah gets a special number

Reeshma Nanaiah will be seen in a special song in the film. A dance number, the song, Mellusire, is a remixed version of the Dr Rajkumar and Leelavathi classic from Veera Kesari. The song has received mixed reviews, with Reeshma's look and dance highly appreciated, but with fans not liking Ajaneesh's remix much.

Bharath G's story takes place in an ancient college in Dharwad

Director Bharath G has set his story in a college in Dharwad, which is over 100 years old. The song, Mellusire, takes place when the protagonists travel to Dandeli. It is significant to the narrative and not a random glam attraction, he says.
