The ceremony, which took place in Chennai today, was also attended by producer Dil Raju. He is bankrolling the project under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Dil Raju can be seen holding a clapboard along with Vijay and Rashmika.

While there is very little information about the film, fans are hopeful that the movie will hit theatres next year. With fans expecting a Pongal 2023 release, this is a time when many of Vijay’s hit movies such as Kannukkul Nilavu, Friends, Pokiri, and Jilla have been released.
