And it soon became one of Netflix's most coveted shows, ranking substantially in several Netflix charts. Elite fans are thrilled about the return of this hit series for a new season. Tune in to the new series this November, but before that have a look at some lesser-known facts about Elite.

  1. Due to Elite’s overnight worldwide success, Netflix renewed the teen drama for its second season within 12 days. And the third season was announced before the second season even aired!
  2. With the departure of most of the cast from the earlier seasons, the fifth season focussed on a new ensemble cast. Few of the cast members will be returning for season six. Though nothing is confirmed, The show might see the return of Carla Díaz as Ari, Diego Martín as Benjamin, Valentina Zenere as Isadora and André Lamoglia as Iván.
  3. Danna Paola, the Mexican singer and actress is adored for her portrayal of the character Lu. In addition to being part of the main cast, her song “Final Feliz” will be featured in the series.
  4. Actress Danna Paola revealed she almost lost the opportunity to star in this chart-topping series. She found out about the casting news while going through her spam box but unfortunately she was a few days late. Luckily, she was confirmed for the role four days later.
  5. Three of the actors in Elite also starred in the Netflix Original Series La Casa de Papel, popularly known as Money Heist. María Pedraza, Jaime Lorente and Miguel Herrán portrayed the role of Alison Parker, Denver and Rio respectively in Money Heist and they essay the roles of Marina Nunier, Nano Garcia and Christian Varela in Elite.
  6. Las Encinas high school, the place which is the center of all the drama and mystery in Elite is not actually a real place. The fictional school which differs substantially from any real school has enthralled the viewers to the extent that some of them have started to believe that it is real.
