Janka Aithe Ganaka Review: Suhas does well in this otherwise silly courtroom drama that is over the top.

Prasad(Ushas) is a middle-class man who leads a simple life with his family. His only logic in life is that one should have kids only if they are capable enough to spend for their education. But the twist in the tale arises when his wife(Sangeerana Vipin) gets pregnant. An upset Prasad sues the company as it failed to perform and created a mess in his life. Will he win this unique case of his life is the basic story of the film.
Janaka Aithe Ganaka has been written and directed by Sandeep Reddy Bandla and he has chosen a very interesting concept of filing a condom company for not working properly. How he has set up the story through a middle-class man played by Suhas is showcased in a very decent manner initially.
But sadly, the presentation is outdated and does now have anything novel to showcase. The initial half an hour of the film is quite interesting as the character of Suhas and his logic behind not having kids is established in a very entertaining manner. The subject of middle-class families going for family planning and not having kids years after their marriage is also showcased decently.

The scenes between Suhas and his father played by Goparaju Ramana are quite funny in the initial portions of the film. But once the film gets into a serious mode of the court case, things fall like a pack of cards. As said earlier, things fall flat due to silly narration. There is no entertainment or seriousness in the proceedings and the film is stuck in no man's land.
The screenplay suffers big-time and no interest factor is created for the audience. Coming to the performances, Suhas is very good in the role of a middle-class family man. There is something in him that every character he plays, he gets so immersed and carries us with him throughout the film. His simple look is also a bonus to the film. The way he fights the case and carries the film on his shoulders is the major selling point of the film.
Sangerthana Vipin is also neat in her role and ably supports Suhas. After a very long gap, Vennela Kishore gets a meaty role and evokes decent laughs in the film. Goparaju Ramana as the typical father has done so well in the film. He brings depth to the proceedings and the supporting cast also does well.
The production values by Dil Raju are good and once again Dil Raju proves that he supports film with great content. He has done the same with Janaka Aithe Ganaka but sadly, the director has let him down in a big way. Vijau Bulganins music score is decent but his BGM is loud and over the top.
The camerawork depicting the middle-class setup is good but the screenplay is very boring. In a way, Janka Aithe Ganka is a film that is lost in translation. What is written on paper is not transformed on screen and ends as a disappointing watch this weekend.
On the whole, Janaka Aithe Ganaka is a social drama that has very contemporary issues related to middle-class families. Suhas and Co do well with their performances but the narration is dull, jaded, and over the top making this film a boring watch this weekend.
