In the ongoing 5th Test match between India and England at the Kennington Oval, London, Mohammed Siraj made a huge blunder in the 35th over. He was fielding near the boundary when Prasidh Krishna bowled a short delivery and Harry Brook pulled the ball into the air for a six. Siraj tried to catch the ball but lost control and couldn't stop himself from crossing the boundary.

Brook got a life and went on to score a century in the match. He was later dismissed by Akash Deep in the 63rd over. It was a fine innings by Brook as he scored 111 runs off 98 balls, hitting 14 boundaries and two sixes. It was an important innings by the batter as England had lost three early wickets.

Joe Root and Brook formed a match-saving 195-run partnership before the batter got dismissed. As we write, England need just 73 runs to win the match and seal the series. Moreover, Root is running towards a century as he is batting on 84 off 127 balls, including nine boundaries.

How much fuel does Siraj have left?: Ravi Shastri

Former India player and head coach Ravi Shastri was all supportive of Mohammed Siraj despite the player's blunder on the boundary. He said that this would help Siraj give his hundred percent on the field. Siraj has been an incredible addition to the Indian team in the absence of Jasprit Bumraj.

"How much fuel does Siraj have left? Without him, this series would be over, done and dusted. He has kept India in the hunt and he needs a big afternoon session. That dropped catch of Brook will probably spur him on and I'm sure he will continue to give everything," said Ravi Shastri.
