But his six was not the centre of attraction there. A video went viral on social media where a young fan as spotted running after the ball as it went into the crowd. He caught the ball after a while and did a little tricks of his own, gaining all the attraction of the people present around him.
Meanwhile, Australia won the 3rd ODI against South Africa by 276 runs. Despite losing the series, 1-2, the home team will take this win in a positive manner. The top order batters slammed the Proteas bowling attack, scoring centuries. Travis Head (142) got to his three figures first, followed by Mitchell Marsh (100) and then Cameron Green (118).
Australia scored 431 runs at the loss of two wickets in the first innings. Moreover, Alex Carey scored a half-century in 37 balls. The entire innings was quite magical as the batters didn't show mercy on the bowlers at all. Keshav Maharaj and Senuran Muthusamy claimed one wicket each.
When South Africa came to bat, they were 50-4 in 8 overs. It was a huge setback for them as they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. However, Brevis' half-century was a bit helpful for the Proteas. Other than him, all the batters failed to impress today. Australia's Cooper Connolly claimed a fifer, wiping out the Proteas batters quite easily. Travis Head was the Player of the Match for his incredible innings.
"It's pretty nice, has been a big difference for us coming here from Cairns. Has been good fun. Happy to perform. Good signs for a couple of players, got a little break before we go into the Ashes. Will get confidence going into that break. Threw a few starts in a couple of games," said Head in the post-match presentation.
