The Kennington Oval, London, is all set to witness the climax of the fifth Test match between England and India. The hosts have just 35 runs to win with four wickets in hand and unlimited time to complete the match. Meanwhile, the Indian bowlers will look to take those wickets as Chris Woakes is already injured and most likely will not bat. However, he would come out to the middle to stand in the non-striker's end. Hence, it will be interesting to see how the English team will manage to chase the score while facing Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, and Akash Deep.

Match: IND vs ENG, 5th Test
Date: 31 July 2025
Time: 3.30 pm IST
Venue: The Kennington Oval, London
The fourth day of the 5th Test match came to an early conclusion because of the rain. However, day five is likely to be saved by the rain interruptions in the first few hours. As per the BBC Weather, the chances of downpours are expected for the first couple of hours of play. Moreover, there is no chance of precipitation, and only a light cloud cover might be expected. England batters just need 35 runs to chase, and that should be done within the first one or two hours.
The 5th Test match at the Kennington Oval has reached a point where both teams have played some quality cricket and the result would hurt each of them. However, England have a better chance of winning the match against India because they are just 35 runs away with Jamie Smith on the crease who is a specialist batter. The Men in Blue can try to change the course of the game but only a miracle can save them from here.
