The former English captain Michael Vaughan is popular for his stern behaviour against the Indian players. This time, he commented on India's best bowler, Jasprit Bumrah, and called him 'playable' in the ongoing 4th Test match against England at Old Trafford, Manchester. The Indian bowlers are having a hard time getting a breakthrough in the match, which is quite disappointing.

So far, Bumrah has remained wicketless, while the debutant Anshul Kamboj claimed one wicket, along with Washington Sundar and Ravindra Jadeja. England batters started off with a 166-run partnership between Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett. Bumrah has struggled to take wickets, failing to generate pace and variations like the English bowlers did on day 1.
"I have to say Jasprit Bumrah has looked okay and playable today. He hasn't got that oomph that he got out of the surface at Lord's when he bowled that incredible spell, and it's the pace that Bumrah is not able to generate, unlike Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer," said Michael Vaughan while talking on the BBC.
Duckett missed out on a well-deserved century by just six runs, while Crawley scored 84 off 113 balls. Both of them hit 13 boundaries each, while Crawley slammed a six as well. Jadeja drew the first blood for India, dismissing Crawley. Later, Kamboj took the wicket of Duckett.
England's batting display on day three was exceptional. After the openers were dismissed, Joe Root and Ollie Pope took up the responsibility and stitched a partnership of 144 runs, helping the team take a lead. Pope was dismissed on 71 off 128 balls, while Root continues to dominate the Indian bowling attack.
The pitch was perfect for the pacers to jump in and get the breakthroughs, but Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj were seen struggling throughout. As we write, England have already taken a lead of eight runs. With just two sessions left, it will be interesting to see how the batters take the game from here. Root is batting on 88 runs, along with England captain Ben Stokes, who is on seven off 29.
