Meanwhile, Harshit Rana gave the finishing tough by scoring 29 runs, including two boundaries and one six. He is an incredible batter towards the death overs, and he showed his skills once again. He claimed two wickets with the ball as well. While talking about his peformance, he revealed that he is scared of talking to his father since he got out without finishing the game.
"It was my dad who got me into batting from the start, because it was his belief that all-rounders tend to play for India earlier. I have a feeling that if I call him now, he will scold me a lot, because I got out with 20 runs still needed. So, I am scared to talk to him now, because he calls me after every game," said Harshit Rana in an interaction with BCCI.tv.
Virat Kohli has surpassed Kumar Sangakkara to become the second highest run-scorer across formats. He is now only behind Sachin Tendulkar, who is the leading run-scorer across formats. Kohli was just 42 runs away from the feat. He has now scored 28,068 runs in 624 innings. Kohli is now almost 6000 runs away from beating Tendulkar's record, which seems unlikely since he plays just one format now. Kohli missed a well-deserving century in the previous game as well.
