India's captain Suryakumar Yadav just compared himself to former skipper Rohit Sharma at the toss time ahead of the match against Oman in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025. The incident turned into a hilarious moment as SKY forgot the name of the second player who is included in the playing XI for the game.

After winning the toss, Suryakumar decided to bat first. When he was asked about the changes made by the team, he could only think about one player, Harshit Rana, and forgot about the second player. He then went on to say that he has become like Rohit Sharma. The former India captain had a habit of forgetting the players' names during the toss time.

"We are looking to bat first. We have not batted first in this competition and we want to know our depth. Having game time is important going into the Super 4s. We want to continue the good habits we are doing in the first two games and want to continue to do that. It is looking nice and our openers will assess it further. We have two changes - Harshit comes in, one more guy comes in, I have become like Rohit (laughs)," said Suryakumar Yadav.

Oman have made two changes in the team against India

Oman captain Jatinder Singh spoke about how he wanted to bat first as well but unfortunately lost the toss. He opened about about the team;s condition and the possible reason behind their exit from the tournament. At last, he mentioned about that there were two changes made to the playing XI but couldn't remember the names.

"I would have batted first. It is a great experience to take from here. Our team is young, lack exposure but this gives them a good chance to come here and test themselves. It is a great opportunity to share the field with India and get a look at their mindset. We have two changes," said Jatinder Singh.
