There have been some stellar performances witnessed throughout the tournament and hence, the anticipation for the final match is high. New Zealand, who are the first finalists, entered the contest by defeating South Africa in the first semi-final in Kolkata. The performance by Finn Allen and the Kiwis alltogether will be remembered for a really long time.
Meanwhile, if we look at their playing XI, as expected, it's going to remain the same. The Kiwis are likely to continue with the same combination in the final match. The opening pair has contributed in almost every game. In this game, all eyes will be Glenn Phillips and Finn Allen.
Probable XI: Tim Seifert (w), Finn Allen, Rachin Ravindra, Glenn Phillips, Mark Chapman, Daryl Mitchell, James Neesham, Mitchell Santner (c), Cole McConchie, Matt Henry, Lockie Ferguson
India are likely to go with the same playing XI as New Zealand since they like to continue with the winning combination. Led by skipper Suryakumar Yadav, the Men in Blue will want Abhishek Sharma to fire today since he has been struggling with the bat. However, in the bowling front, the leaking runs in every game is quite troublesome.
The Ahmedabad pitch is not going to be any different though. Hence, the bowlers will have to be cautious and try to not experiment with the line and length. Bumrah has been phenomenal throughout the tournament and will be impactful in the upcoming clash as well.
Probable XI: Suryakumar Yadav (C), Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan (WK), Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Shivam Dube, Varun Chakaravarthy, Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh.
