After a good break from cricket, the Indian and Australian women's team will be back in action for the T20I series at home. This will be the first time since 2018 that Australia will be touring India.

The series which will commence on December 9, 2022. The fifth and final game will be played on December 20.

Prior to this tour, the two sides had locked horns at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games (CWG) 2022 finals. The Women in Blue lost the summit clash as the Australians clinched the gold medal, with India settling for the silver.

The last time the two teams faced in a T20I series was in 2021 when hosts Australia won the series 2-0.

Talking about the upcoming clash, it will prove to be beneficial as the teams will gear up for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2023.
