During the press conference yesterday, India's assistant coach Ryan Ten Doeschate opened up on the team's stance for the match against Pakistan. As per the former Dutch batter, the Indian team management did not get "too much information" from their first Asia Cup match against UAE, and it looks like they will go unchanged.
This means Sanju Samson will continue in the middle order along with Shivam Dube. This also suggests Arshdeep Singh, who has an excellent record against Pakistan in T20Is will sit out again.
In this regard, Hardik Pandya, who has taken the most wickets in India vs Pakistan T20I matches, will be India’s main pacer alongside Jasprit Bumrah. Kuldeep Yadav, who was India’s player of the match in the first match of the Asia Cup, will be the key spinner in the middle overs alongside Varun Chakravarthy.

So, everything depends on whether Gill has recovered well enough or not. If he has not, Sanju, who has an average of 37 and a strike-rate of 148 at the top of the order, will be ready to take his place. This would allow India to have another batter in the middle as well.
On the other hand, Pakistan, after their thumping win against Oman on the same venue, is likely to go unchanged as well.
