As per local media, the sky has been covered by clouds in the morning of the match day. Colombo is experiencing rainfall with temperatures hovering around 28°C. The likelihood of rain is highest around 5 PM, approximately two hours before the scheduled start of the India vs Pakistan clash.

The precipitation chances peak at 63% at that time but decrease sharply to about 9% by 7 PM and are expected to remain low through the rest of the evening. However, earlier forecasts indicate rain probabilities ranging between 49% and 60% from 10 AM to 6 PM, suggesting that the R Premadasa Stadium could see substantial rainfall. This may leave the outfield damp and potentially affect overall playing conditions.
