The rain forecast for Vizag has cleared up, ensuring that the highly anticipated, sold-out match will proceed without weather interruptions.
The pitch at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium is traditionally known for being batting-friendly, offering a true bounce that assists stroke play. However, as the match progresses into the evening, the presence of dew is expected to make the outfield slippery and the ball harder for bowlers to grip, which historically provides a significant advantage to teams batting second.
Consequently, captains winning the toss are likely to opt for chasing, taking advantage of the easier batting conditions under lights and the challenge bowlers face with a wet ball.

Australia are likely to go unchanged.
