Santner, recovering well from recent abdominal surgery, will lead the T20I side. Ravindra, who missed the recent Australian series due to a facial injury, rejoins the squad ready to contribute.
Kane Williamson, having just returned from overseas, is expected to make his international return during the ODI series in his hometown of Tauranga, adding experience and leadership to the side.

However, the team faces setbacks with Wellington Firebirds fast bowler Ben Sears ruled out due to a left hamstring tear sustained during training, sidelining him for three to four weeks.
Injuries have also kept out several other players—Finn Allen (foot), Adam Milne (ankle), Will O'Rourke (back), Glenn Phillips (groin), and Lockie Ferguson (hamstring)—limiting selection options.
Jimmy Neesham's impressive form against Australia has earned him a spot as the seam-bowling all-rounder for this series. The pace bowling attack remains consistent, featuring Jacob Duffy, Zak Foulkes, Matt Henry, and Kyle Jamieson.
In the spin department, Michael Bracewell joins Santner, with Ish Sodhi missing out. Tim Seifert will be the wicket-keeper for the T20Is, returning to the batting lineup that previously faced Australia.
“We know what an exciting brand of cricket Harry Brook and his T20 boys play, and I’m sure our guys are looking forward to meeting that challenge head on,” Kiwi coach Rob Walter expressed.
