India's opener, KL Rahul, was the most underrated player in the recently concluded Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. In five matches, he amassed 532 runs, at an average of 53.20, and was the third-highest run-getter of the series. His calm and composed nature helped India escape tricky situations, especially in the fourth match. Speaking about his performance, England's Moeen Ali heaped praises on the batter.

The former player was quite convinced by Rahul's performance and mentioned that 'people don't realise how good Rahul is'. On the 'Beard Before Wicket' podcast, Moeen gave due credit to Rahul for his brilliant batting performance throughout the series, and not just in a single match.

"People don't realise how good KL is, particularly opening the batting. He was brilliant last series in England as well. I actually think Shubman scored the most runs, but I thought KL was probably the best I have seen him play. He is such a good player. I genuinely believe that he is one of the best in the world. Sometimes I just feel like he doesn't take the handbrake off, generally, I'd say he's one of the best players in the world," said Moeen Ali on the 'Beard Before Wicket' podcast.

KL Rahul is one of those batters who stick to the copybook batting style. He loves playing those straight and cover drives, troubling the bowlers and pleasing the audience's eyes. On most tough wickets, Rahul's temperament comes in handy. When wickets keep tumbling from one end, a trustworthy batter is always needed on one end, and in this series, KL Rahul was the man for India.

India won the final Test against England, levelling the series, thanks to Mohammed Siraj's outstanding bowling on the last day. The moment will be etched in the memories of all the Indian fans for a long time now. However, Prasidh Krishna was equally good from the other end, giving the much-needed breakthroughs on day four.

The collective effort from the entire team is one of the main reasons why the Men in Blue were able to win the series. Despite missing Jasprit Bumrah in the final game, the team's unity and the 'never give up' mindset helped them reach their goal.
