India's opening batter Sanju Samson was spotted rolling his arms against legendary Liverpool footballer Michael Owen at an event hosted at the NESCO Centre. Samson was seen ducking the ball as Owen was hitting all around the park. The fans gathered around were enjoying the view as the blend of cricket and football is loved by all.

Michael Owen is an incredible football player and has a huge fan following across the globe. He has played for Liverpool, Manchester United, and New Castle United in the English Premier League. Owen met Samson in Mumbai as he was there for the Premier League fan engagement event.

Sanju Samson to feature in T20I series against Australia

Sanju Samson's performance in the recently-concluded Asia Cup 2025 wasn't great but it did earn him a chance to feature in the T20I series against Australia, starting on October 19. Being an incredible batter, Samson has fought hard for the place in the Indian team. However, his inconsistent performance is something which is a huge concern for everyone.
