Suryakumar Yadav, Abhishek Sharma, and Ishan Kishan wreaked havoc on the New Zealand bowlers in the third T20I match in Guwahati. They chased down 155 runs in ten overs, sealing the series, 3-0. The Kiwi bowlers were helpless with the bat and the ball as the Indian team looked quite balanced.

At the presentation, SKY was asked about Abhishek and Kishan's batting and how that has changed the team dynamics. He opened up about their performance and how the young batters have made his job easy during the run-chase. SKY scored 57 runs while Abhshek slammed 68 off 40 balls.

"I think we've spoken about this. This is the brand of cricket which we want to play, irrespective we are batting first or chasing. Of course, for example, if we are 20 for 3 or 40 for 4 tomorrow, we know how to bat. But if you want to play a different brand of cricket, then I think this is the best way going forward. And what do I say about the top 2-3 batters? They made my job very easy," said SKY at the post-match presentation.

Abhishek Sharma slammed second-fastest fifty for India in T20Is

India's star opener Abhishek Sharma scored 68 off 20 balls, including seven boundaries and five sixes and batted at a strike rate of 340. This was one of the quickest and the best innings of Abhishek as he took just 14 balls to hit the fifty. He hit the second fastest half-century for India in the T20Is and was on the verge of breaking Yuvraj Singh's record.

The left-handed batter has turned out to be one of the most valuable players in the international set-up expecially in the T20Is. India needed someone to bat at the top and release the pressure off the middle order batters and Abhishek is doing exactly the same. Since India's performance is top-notch, the expectations and the anticipation around the T20 World Cup 2026 has increased immensily.
