#5 Mohamed Salah | 30

Mohamed Salah, one of the Premier League’s most prolific strikers with 187 goals in the league, has also proven his effectiveness in penalty situations.

Salah converted 30 penalties from 36 attempts, translating to an 83.3% conversion rate. His ability to score from the spot complements his powerful open-play finishing, making him one of the most complete strikers in the league’s history.

The Egyptian striker is one of the greatest players to have ever played for Liverpool FC, and it would be no harm to call him one of the greatest ever in the league itself.

#4 Steven Gerrard | 32

Transitioning from Salah to another Liverpool icon, if anyone rivals Salah for the title of the greatest Reds player, it would be Steven Gerrard.

Gerrard, known as "captain fantastic," is regarded as one of the top midfielders of the modern era and consistently provided important goals for his beloved club.

Gerrard scored 32 penalties out of 39 he took. He is the player with the fourth most penalties scored in Premier League history.

Harry Kane was like a hurricane for the defenders during his time at Tottenham Hotspur, where he scored 213 goals in the league. Kane left for Bayern Munich as the second-highest goalscorer in the league’s history.

The former Spurs leader had an amazing tendency to be clinical inside the box. He was also super efficient from the spot as well, scoring 33 penalties from the 37 he took.

Kane has the highest success rate (89.2%) from the penalty spot among players with 30 or more penalties scored in the Premier League.

Frank Lampard is the highest-scoring midfielder of this century. With 177 Premier League goals as a midfielder set himself apart from all other counterparts.

43 out of his 177 Premier League goals, though, came from the penalty spot. With 50 penalties taken in his Premier League career, Lampard finished his career with an 84.0% success rate from the penalty spot.

Lampard was known for his rocket penalty kicks, which the goalkeepers generally could not react to.

Alan Shearer, the highest goalscorer of the Premier League era, also has the record for the most penalties scored in Premier League history.

The Newcastle United legend scored a record 260 goals in his Premier League career, out of which 56 came from the Penalty spot.

Shearer is the only player with 50 or more penalties scored in the league. The former English striker, though, had taken 67 penalties in his Premier League career and ended up with a success rate of 83.6%.
