India's T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav travelled to Dubai for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025. All the players will assemble in Dubai rather than coming to Mumbai. The tournament is set to start on September 9, so the players will get some time to practice and understand the environment better. The Indian selectors have announced the squad for the tournament and the surprise element was Shubman Gill's inclusion.

With some tough competitions and competitors are coming India's way, team practice is exremely crucial for India. The Men in Blue will face Pakistan on September 14, which is expected to be thrilling contest between the two arch-rivals. The ongoing border tensions have increased over the past few months, making it important for both countries to showcase an excellent performance on the field.

Moreover, even Hardik Pandya was seen leaving for Dubai along with skipper SKY. The all-rounder has been in great form and will most likely to be in great shape for the tournament. Coming from an injury, Hardik will have huge responsilibites on his shoulders throughout the Asia Cup 2025.

After the entire team reaches Dubai, they will have their first collective practice on Friday at the ICC Academy for a three-hour evening session. The team will get time to prepare for the tournament. All the responsibilities will be on Shubman Gill and his deputy Shubman Gill since there are no more senior members in the squad.

However, Jasprit Bumrah is there in the squad, which is a huge boost for the rest of the young bowlers including Arshdeep Singh. They will get good guidance from the pacer, which will be helpful in the upcoming tournament.
