Rohit Sharma was spotted cruising through the streets of Mumbai in his brand-new Lamborghini Urus, leaving fans in awe of the stylish ride and the Indian skipper’s cool demeanour.

India's ODI captain Rohit Sharma was spotted flaunting his new Lamborghini Urus on the Mumbai roads on Monday evening. A video went viral on social media where the right-handed batter was driving his orange Lamborghini with a number plate '3015'. There is an interesting story behind the number plate.

Rohit has dedicated the numbers to his children's birthdays. Samaira was born on December 30, and Ahaan was born on November 15. Moreover, when we add the numbers, it comes to 45, Rohit's international jersey number. This proves how much the Indian captain loves his children as well as the sport.

Moreover, before buying the new Lamborghini, Rohit had a blue one, which he gifted to a winner in the Dream11 contest a few weeks ago. The cricketer loves to show his affection towards his fans, and this was a way of showing how much he cares for them.

Will Rohit Sharma play in ODI World Cup 2027?

Despite being India's ODI captain, there are dark clouds hovering around Rohit Sharma's future in the Indian team. Ahead of the Australia series in October, reports suggest that the BCCI is most likely to give an ultimatum to Rohit and Virat Kohli regarding their performance in the series.

If they fail to perform, they might not be included in the upcoming ODI World Cup 2027. BCCI's planning to form the squad's core around the young players, and having Kohli and Rohit will not make that possible. Australia are coming to India to play a white-ball series in October.

Considering everything that's going around, Kohli-Rohit will surely look to perform in the series to secure a place in the ODI World Cup 2027. Under Rohit's captaincy, India won the T20 World Cup 2024 and the Champions Trophy 2025.
