India’s T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav has always had a strong presence on social media. He’s often seen posting funny Instagram stories, whether it’s a meme or something funny related to his fellow teammates. However, this time, he himself jumped into a viral trend, and guess what, he was not alone. Sky was accompanied by young Indian women's cricketer Shreyanka Patil.

Suryakumar and Shreyanka recently joined the viral ‘AuraFarming’ trend that’s been doing the rounds on social media. The star Indian batter posted the video on his Instagram account in which he can be seen doing the steps from that viral trend on a tandem stepper machine with Shreyanka sitting behind him. He captioned the post, “Manager ne bola trend karneka, toh karneka 😂#AuraFarming.”

The ‘AuraFarming’ trend is all over social media. The internet coined the term when an Indonesian boy during the Pacu Jalur boat race went viral for his poised, emotionless choreography; people joked that he was “farming aura.” First, it was just influencers who followed the trend, but it started getting more viral when big personalities hopped into the trend and posted their versions on social media. BTS’s Jungkook and V, NFL’s Travis Kelce, Paris Saint‑Germain, even the Singapore Nav,y and many others joined the trend.

Suryakumar was last seen in action during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. Playing for Mumbai Indians (MI), the right-handed batter scored 717 runs and finished second in the Orange Cap race, just behind Sai Sudharsan. However, he received the Most Valuable Player award for numerous contributions to the team. He will be back in action once any white-ball series takes place.

On the other hand, Shreyanka has been out of action for a while now. She didn’t even take part in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) earlier this year. Her last appearance came against Australia Women during the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup last year in October, and since then, she’s been recovering from an injury due to which she even missed the recently concluded India Women’s tour of England for a white-ball series.
