Former India cricketer Kris Srikanth bashed all-rounder Nitish Reddy after his bowling performance against South Africa in the ongoing 2nd Test match. Reddy, who is in the team as an all-rounder, didn't ball as he was expected to. He got an opportunity in place of Axar Patel but left everyone disappointed.

In the first innings, he bowled just six overs and conceded 25 runs while in the second innings he bowled four overs and conceded 24 runs. Criticizing his bowling, Srikanth slammed him for his bowling and questioned the selectors over his inclusion in the team.

"Who called Nitish Reddy an all-rounder? Looking at his bowling can anyone call him an all-rounder? He hit that one century in Melbourne. Good. Tell me what has he done in Test cricket after that? One sunny day doesn't make a summer. If he is an all-rounder then I am also a terrific all-rounder. You cannot term him as an all-rounder. Does he have any pace or any movement or anything?," he said on his YouTube channel 'Cheeky Cheeka'.

India need 522 runs to win 2nd Test vs SA

The day four of the second Test has come to an end with India on 27-2. After getting out on just 201 runs in the first innings, South Africa didn't enforce a follow on and came to bat again. They led by 548 runs in the second innings and declared after Tristan Stubbs failed to slam a century.

India now require 522 runs to win the match. This will be a historic win for the home team if they manage to pull off a chase of 500+ runs on the last day. While winning is a far fetched dream, India should look to draw the Test match. Despite a draw, the hosts will lose the series, 1-0, to the Proteas.
