Wimbledon 2025: Defending champion Barbora Krejcikova and Iga Swiatek among the major matches on Day 6 in the women’s singles category

It’s time to decide the next set of 8 women who will advance to round 4 at Wimbledon 2025. On Day 5, World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka, Elise Mertens, Laura Siegemund, Linda Noskova, Sonay Kartal, Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova, Solana Sierra and Amanda Anisimova booked their places in Round 4. Sabalenka ended Emma Raducanu’s challenge in straight sets, while Pavlyuchenkova came back from one set down to oust Naomi Osaka. Sixth seed Madison Keys fell to Siegemund in straight sets, while Mertens downed Elina Svitolina.

In the second set of pool of 16, who play on July 5, the highlights are, of course, defending champion Barbora Krejcikova against Emma Navarro and Iga Swiatek vs Danielle Collins, but also vying for a spot in Round 4 are Mirra Andreeva, Elena Rybakina, Ekaterina Alexandrova, Clara Tauson, among others. Match timings listed are subject to change, given the duration of preceding match on each court. Tonight, Iga Swiatek is scheduled to play around 7.40 pm on Centre Court, but she’s got a Jannik Sinner match before that. On the other courts with no roofs, matches were being suspended at start of play on July 5 owing to bad weather.
