Curb Your Enthusiasm returns for what is supposedly the last, most chaotic season of HBO's classic comedy series, starring everyone's favourite misanthrope. The series will conclude with its forthcoming 12th season, according to Larry David, whose spoiled alter ego has been involved in a wide variety of mischief and embarrassing situations for the past eleven seasons.

The legacy of Larry David

The veteran of Seinfeld created the Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning comedy series, which has been a mainstay on HBO since its 2000 debut. Over the past twenty-plus years, David's irritable TV character has, frequently to everyone's amusement, bungled his social life and insignificant everyday occurrences. In the season finale trailer, David boasted that he really did the best under the circumstances of a person who hates people—and yet had to be among them.

Streaming schedule

Starting on Monday, February 5, the 12th and final season of Curb Your Enthusiasm will stream on JioCinema. Each week leading up to the series finale on April 8, new episodes will premiere at the same time.

For the last season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, we have compiled a list of all the performers and the characters they played. Larry David, in his own right; Jeff Garlin plays Larry's buddy and talent manager, Jeff Greene; Susie Essman plays Jeff's wife, Cheryl Hines; J.B. Smoove plays Larry's friend and flatmate, Leon Black; Richard Lewis plays himself; Ted Danson plays himself; and Vince Vaughn plays himself.

Confirmed ending

Season 12 is the last, according to David. During this week's season 12 premiere, he assured The Hollywood Reporter that he was not lying and that people believed he was not telling the truth. The actor-filmmaker knows he said fifteen years ago that it was the last season because that's what he says when he doesn't think he can think of a new one. And yet, this is the end. The upcoming season marks the farewell of the HBO drama.

Another cast member who has stated his intention to not return is Jeff Garlin. He told THR that there was always a possibility that they wouldn't return. However, David has never explicitly stated that this is the final season. He said that this year, when people watch the season, it’ll all make sense.
