Five Blind Dates is a romantic comedy that revolves around a Chinese-Australian tea show owner named Lia. She goes on a series of blind dates to find love and save her failing business. Her tea shop business which she gets from her grandmother is at risk when a prophecy suggests that Lia's future and the business depends on the results of her dates and it entangles Lia's romantic life.

The film then takes a massive turn when the giels are tricked into getting involved into becoming a member of a terrorist organization.
