Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s film RadheShyam has now released in theatres. The movie has been a hit on social media ever since the first poster of Prabhas and Pooja was unveiled. During a group interaction with OTTplay, Prabhas revealed how he felt and what he feels now since his movie is out there for people to watch.
We asked Prabhas if it makes him nervous that people have been waiting to see his chemistry with Pooja Hegde since the first poster of RadheShyam wass unveiled. He responded saying, “It’s a very good sign since the whole story is on Vikramaditya and Prerna. It’s a good sign so there’s nothing to be nervous about.”
Another aspect that is quite evident is RadheShyam is that the movie is also grand on VFX like both Baahubali as well as Saaho. When we asked Prabhas if it has become a norm with him – that VFX follows when it comes to his movies, he said, “The last three-four films have been big with visuals and AdiPurush will also be in that category. I’m doing a comedy film and will try different films with lesser effects. It just happened like that.”
RadheShyam is essentially a love story. However, the movie has the rebirth angle with a twist – Vikramaditya is a palmist who can see the future. While the rebirth stories have not always worked in the recent past either in Bollywood or the South Indian film industry, Prabhas’ movie has an angle that isn’t explored much - palmistry. The new element could help bring the trend of rebirth stories back. Does the actor feel the same way though? He says, “I don’t know about the trending part but want people to love it. I hope they enjoy the film.”
Talking about palmistry, Prabhas completely shuns the idea. He believes it is superstitious. “I believe in destiny. I don’t follow palmistry. I feel it’s superstitious sometimes but I know there is science in it. It’s interesting but I don’t follow it,” he says.
The actor further reveals that he is going to announce one or two more projects in the next few weeks or months.
His movie with Saif Ali Khan – Adipurush – is releasing on January 12, 2023. Apart from that, Prabhas is also shooting for Project K and Salaar simultaneously.
