In Manali, a few blind cyclists embark on an enthralling journey, guided by fellow adventurers. As they complete the ride, negotiating difficult mountain passes along with steep roads and sharp turns, they talk about how enriching the experience is, despite their limitations. Similarly disabled athletes, who run marathons or swim at pro-level are able to make the most of their resources but get little support from the local governing bodies. Is there a way to ensure the disabled don’t just live on the fringes and are integrated in society holistically ? If so, whose job is it anyway?
