Dabangg

Dabangg, directed by Abhinav Kashyap was released on 10 September 2010. The movie revolves around a city cop named Chulbul Pandey a.k.a Robin Hood Pandey, who has strained relationship with his younger half-brother, Makkhanchand "Makkhi" Pandey, stepfather Prajapati Pandey but loves his mother, Naini P. Pandey. As the siblings grew up, Makkhi falls in love with Nirmala (Mahi Gill) and steals from Chulbul to pay back the debt to her father. Chulbul falls in love with Rajjo (Sonakshi Sinha) who refuses because she has to take care of her drunkard father. One day Chulbul comes home to find his mother dead who devastated him. At Makkhi’s wedding Chulbul learns he stole money from him and ends up marrying Rajjo. Masterji feels humiliated and calls off Makkhi's wedding with Nirmala. Chedi (Sonu Sood), a politician who hates Chulbul gives Makkhi a task to kill him. Makkhi ends up telling Chulbul everything and reveals to him that it was Chedi, who killed Naini. Enraged, Chulbul kills Chedi, suffocating him to death. Nirmala and Makkhi end up getting married and Rajjo reveals that she is pregnant.
