Sister Swap: A Hometown Holiday

Two Sisters (played by real life sisters Kimberly Williams Paisley and Ashley Williams) swap cities to pursue new projects in the 12 days leading up to Christmas. The sisters, both surprised to find new love in their new settings, combine forces to help one another learn valuable lessons about trust, support, and competition. Jennifer Swift (Kimberley Williams-Paisley) needs a Christmas break this year. Just as she's ready to return to her hometown of Hazelwood, Utah, withher increasingly distant teenaged son, Simon, Jennifer learns that her restaurant has won a coveted spot in a Salt Lake City Christmas contest. When her sister Meg Swift (Ashley Williams) offers to help manage the contest so Jennifer can reconnect with family, she is torn but takes the offer. Upon arrival in her hometown, Jennifer discovers that her parents, Debbie and Luke Swift, are planning to sell the historic Madison movie theater, long run by Jennifer's much belovedbut recently passed Uncle Dave. When Jennifer and Simon decide to surprise the family with one more Christmas at the Madison, Jennifer enlists the help of Eric Baker (Mark Deklin), the town councilman in charge of the historic preservationcommittee and her former high school crush. As Jennifer and Eric work together, the theater is prepped for a Christmas celebration as romance sparkles and deepens. When a problem with her restaurant develops back in the city, Jennifer is torn between the life she's built, and all of Hazelwood's charming Christmas traditions--the snowman decorating contest, the Christmas tree lighting, and community caroling. As she reconnects with her parents and her son, becomes investedin her hometown, and falls for Eric, Jennifer turns to the one person who's always been her secret weapon - her sister Meg. Together, the two come up with a solution that helps everyone, and are ready to celebrate Christmas as a family and as a team.
