Theerpugal Virkapadum

Written and directed by Dheeran, the 2021 Tamil-language vigilante thriller film is produced by Sajeev MeeraSahib and Rawther. Shot entirely in 8K resolution by Garudavega Anji, the plot revolves around the abduction of the son of a prominent businessman called Rudhravel. Along with Rajendran, his nephew, Rudhravel resolves to take down Dr Nalan Kumar, the mastermind behind the kidnapping. Apart from Sathyaraj, who essays the role of Dr Nalan Kumar, the cast includes Madhusudhan Rao as Rudhravel, Harish Uthaman, Yuvan Mayilswamy, Smruthi Venkat, Renuka, Charle and Sriranjini, along with George Maryan, Jeeva Ravi, Lollu Sabha Manohar, Lizzie Antony, Pondy Ravi, Subramani, Gajaraj and Kaalai in supporting roles, among others.
