The Galapagos island is home to some of the most resilient reptiles that have walked the face of the earth. Of those reptiles, the Marine Iguanas are different from most animals on the island, as they dive underwater to hunt. These lizards have adapted to the incredibly harsh environment of the island and have answered every question evolution has thrown at them. But they seem to be disappearing, causing the number of these iguanas to dwindle. Vanishing Dragons - The Disappearing Iguanas of Galapagos is a documentary film directed by Thomas Behrend that investigates this disappearance and tries to determine how they can prevent the world's only oceangoing lizard from going extinct.
