X=Prem

X=Prem is a 2022 Bengali black-and-white science fiction romance drama film that follows Khilat and Joyee, a young couple who meets with an accident which leads to Khilat, who is a brilliant computer science student working successfully for an international company, to suffer from retrograde amnesia. As he loses the memory of love, Khilat approaches Dr. Kaufman as he resorts to scientific methods to retrieve his lost memory and reunite with his lover, Joyee. Written and directed by Srijit Mukherji, the film features performances from Anindya Sengupta, Shruti Das, Arjun Chakrabarty, Madhurima Basak, and Richard Bhakti Klein. The monochromatic film has been shot by Subhankar Bhar, with Sanglap Bhowmik serving as the editor. Shrikant Mohta and Mahendra Soni serves as the producers, with the film released under the banner of Shree Venkatesh Films. Despite underperforming in the box-office, the film has garnered much acclaim from critics for it's ingenuity. The film's soundtrack has been provided by Sanai, with the song "Bhalobashar Morshum" sung by Shreya Ghoshal and Arijit Singh being a stand-out song.
