The Spider-Man movies are considered as the most successful adaptation of the superhero comic series. It all began 20 years before when the first superhero film was released, starring Tobey Maguire in the titular character as Spider-Man. The film, directed by Sam Raimi, became the first film to reach $100 million in a single weekend at that time. The superhero drama also stars Willem Dafoe, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, Cliff Robertson, and Rosemary Harris.
Now, to celebrate the 20 years of the first instalment of the Spider-Man trilogy, helmed by Sam Raimi, the Sony Pictures Entertainment have released a 56-seconds video. The promo video begins with the scene of the three Spideys (Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland) landing on the Statue of Liberty in the Spider-Man: No Way Home movie. It then takes you on the journey of the superhero in retrospective. The video shares glimpses of the first film where Tobey is seen realising his strengths. And of course, the video also has the epic dialogue: 'With more power, comes great responsibility'.
