9 Hours trailer: Taraka Ratna turns a cop, vows to guard the common man in Krish’s hostage drama

Disney+ Hotstar, after Parampara, will be back with a new Telugu show, 9 Hours, on the platform on June 2, created by Krish Jagarlamudi and directed by Jacob Verghese and Niranjan Kaushik. Marking the digital debut of Taraka Ratna, 9 Hours also stars Ajay, Vinod Kumar, Madhu Shalini, Ravi Varma, Preethi Asrani, Ankith Koyya, Jwala Koti, Monica Reddy and others in key roles.

Earlier today, Varun Tej had launched the trailer of 9 Hours across his social media handles. The hostage drama revolves around three prisoners who escape from prison to pull off a bank robbery. What’s in store for them at the bank? Will the prisoners return to jail before the next roll call? To what length can the cops go to catch the criminals and guard the common man? You’ll know soon.

Taraka Ratna essays the role of a cop in the show who vows to protect the innocent and ensure that the needy get the justice they deserve. Ankith Koyya and Preethi Asrani play a much-in-love young couple, while Vinod Kumar too is a police officer, a superior to Taraka Ratna. The show promises thrills, action and drama in abundance and the periodic setting contributes to its allure.

9 Hours is produced by Rajeev Reddy Y. and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi under First Frame Entertainments. With music by Shakthi Kanth Karthick, it is cinematographed by Manojh Reddy. Rajkumar Gibson Talari and Dharmendra Kakarala are the production designer and the editor respectively. The film’s teaser and character posters were released the previous week.
